Where To Buy Our Daily Red Wine ##BEST##

In the United States, a red mix is any American wine that isn't produced from a single grape type. It's an odd classification since many, if not all, red wines are and have always been mixes. A grand cru Bordeaux produced entirely of Cabernet, as well as Chiantis made entirely of Sangiovese, are the exception rather than the norm. In addition, California law only requires a wine's label to contain 75% of the grape type.

Winemakers combine grapes because it enables them to create a wine in a sense. A splash of Merlot may help soften Cabernet's tannins, while a dash of Syrah can give watery, inexpensive Pinot some punch. Blending is common in several regions: Rioja, for example, has traditionally blended Tempranillo, Graciano, and Garnacha. Many modern, inexpensive red blends, on the other hand, are simply created for mass appeallots of superripe, black fruit and no acidityusing whatever varietals would suffice.

Red wine is a popular alcoholic beverage that is enjoyed by many people around the world. It is made from red grapes and is known for its rich, complex flavors and aromas. There are many different varieties of red wine, each with its own unique characteristics and taste. Some of the most popular varieties of red wine include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, and Zinfandel.

Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most popular varieties of red wine. It is known for its full-bodied flavor and high tannin content. This wine is often aged in oak barrels, which gives it a rich, smoky flavor. Some of the most famous brands of Cabernet Sauvignon include Chateau Montelena, Silver Oak, and Caymus Vineyards.

Merlot is another popular variety of red wine. It is known for its soft, fruity flavor and low tannin content. This wine is often blended with other varieties of red wine to create a more complex flavor. Some of the most famous brands of Merlot include Duckhorn Vineyards, Stags' Leap Winery, and Chateau Ste. Michelle.

Pinot Noir is a lighter-bodied red wine that is known for its delicate, fruity flavor. It is often aged in oak barrels, which gives it a subtle smoky flavor. Some of the most famous brands of Pinot Noir include Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, Kistler Vineyards, and Williams Selyem.

Shiraz, also known as Syrah, is a full-bodied red wine that is known for its spicy, peppery flavor. It is often aged in oak barrels, which gives it a rich, smoky flavor. Some of the most famous brands of Shiraz include Penfolds, Henschke, and Torbreck.

Zinfandel is a bold, fruity red wine that is known for its high alcohol content. It is often aged in oak barrels, which gives it a rich, smoky flavor. Some of the most famous brands of Zinfandel include Ridge Vineyards, Turley Wine Cellars, and Seghesio Family Vineyards.

Ongoing vintages have added a healthy percentage (30%) of Mendocino grapes which bring the leaner mouth feel and more focused flavors of the region to the mix. A blend of Fresno Syrah and Carignan and Mendocino Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine should age well for a few years...if it lasts. - Winery

While we like to hear from consumers, (both opinions and questions) we avoid retail (not enough time) and even avoid wholesale sales (direct to stores), as we are bad at collections. Instead, we sell our wines to distributors in 43 states as of last count and if yours is not one of them then a little pull from your end, a little push from our end and we can get you the most organic and varietally correct wines available in the world.

Welcome wine drinkers and thanks for finding us out here on one of the spiral arms of the Web. We should warn you that we have streamlined our business to that which we enjoy the most, making wine. We've been making wine commercially for over 30 years now, organic wine for the last 20 years. Making the same wines year after year can get a bit boring so those of you who have followed our products for some time have noticed we mix things up a bit each year by adding new wines, trying out new vineyards and styling wines so they best reflect the oddities of each vintage.

Organically certified Cabernet Sauvignon from California. The wine is vegan and contains no detectable sulfites through a special process where not only are no sulfites added but those that naturally occur are converted to a gaseous form and blown off.

The 2017 Our Daily Cab Cabernet Sauvignon from Our Daily Wines begins with a pleasant aroma of plum, black cherry, a little cranberry, a little black pepper and vanilla. The wine tastes of dark fruit and is quite tannic, which wasn't what I was expecting, but it was a pleasant surprise. Medium-bodied and dry, this might be a nice one to pair with some cheese unless you're trying to avoid sulfites completely. It ends with a long, lip-puckering finish.

With no sulfites this is definitely a wine meant to be consumed young (it won't age well). It also probably won't last more than one night after opening, so plan accordingly. Overall, we quite enjoyed it -- it's rare to find something certified organic and without sulfites at this low of a price.
